My mental health check in.

This afternoon I had my visit with two occupational therapists from the mental health team, they were both really lovely and really understanding of my situation. And they seem to think that counselling can help with my harsh Self-criticism and self-loathing and frustration at the lack of things I can control.

I’m always telling you guys to love yourselves and to give yourselves a break whatever your circumstances may be, but I necessarily haven’t been doing that.

Talking about what I’ve gone through has maybe realised that there are some things I haven’t fully dealt with. The time to ignore them has gone, with the right tools they are certain they can help.

Thank you for all the love and support you show me on social media after I posted my open letter. I want to get back into a place where I feel confident again and like myself.
