- The words tumbled from her lips

- A book, a possible passport
- She chased the whiskey with pills
- The stars twinkled with infinite possibilities
- Devastation with two words. I’m sorry.
- She was enraged at his stupidity
- It wasn’t supposed happen this way
- Their passion influenced by Hennessy
- They’d surely regret it in later,
- She wept. He cried. They finished.
- This wasn’t a happily ever after
- She sang like a canary
- Her inner child’s spirit died
- The darkness enveloped her, providing relief.
