How to dress with a vintage Vibe

When dressing vintage, remember to add modern twists so you don’t look too dated. Pastel and floral are a must especially, if you want the feminine look. Remember that collecting pieces can be expensive so be prepared save up!

  • Nude/black handbag
  • Keep your makeup simple.
  • Invest in chiffon blouses

Makeup Must haves

One of these days my lovelies I will post a makeup tutorial for you all but, until I figure out basic makeup (my cordination is terrible due to my Cerebral Palsy) a written list.

  1. Eco tools brushes – yes they are expensive but it’s better to not have synthetic bristles as it transfers make up from the brush better on to your skin. They also have chunky handles (Good for Cerebral Palsy) and endorsed by coachella queen, Vanessa Hudgens.
  2. MUA felt liner – the best one if your just learning how to do flicks as it’s easy to wipe off, leaving a small smudge. – practice flicks before putting on makeup to go out because panda eyes are not in this season.
  3. Maybeline blushed nudes pallets – perfect for a girly girl like me who wears lots of pastel colours. Creamy texture too.
  4. DKYN setting spray – as long as you spray in a T formation 4 inches away from your face, it won’t give you that wet look.
  5. A makeup organiser – right now I have all my makeup in an Audrey Hepburn box but it’s over flowing! Best ones are from super drug.
  6. A lip balm to prep your lips with then apply lipstick with the matching liner and then gild over a lip stain from Revelon.
  7. Splash out on expensive makeup remover so it doesn’t harsh your skin. Emma Watson is a fan of Lancôme.
  8. Personally girls it’s time to ditch the highlighter – very early 2000s! Eek!
  9. Make sure your lips and nails match. My signature colour is Elizabeth Arden’s red door nail polish.

My favourite Makeup Brands

  1. Revlon – The makeup brand that Audrey Hepburn used!
  2. Max factor – Makeup stylist to Marylin  Monroe.
  3. NYX – Their range is budget friendly with amazing stay power and a great range of liners and eyeshades.
  4. MUA – Their foundation would stay put in a monsoon and the powder leaves me glow free. The Lux lipstick has a Great Gatsby vibe.
  5. Maybeline – Every girls first foundation was the Dream Matte Mousse. I love their Contor sticks as their so creamy and blends in so well. Need I mention the blushed nudes pallet?
  6. I use the organic company for my skin care routines.
  7. DNKY – Setting spray is like glue!
  8. Benifit- Their pore professional is so kind on your skin.
